It might be early to think about early signs of autumn and winter, but in a country of four so (supposedly) distinct seasons, white nights in summer and actual snow in dreary dark winters every sign of change is taken extremely seriously.
I ignored the gradually dropping temperature or the changing supply of berries in the market stalls, as well as trees dropping leaves occasionally.
It was only last night I received my first genuine sign of winter mercilessly approaching: I received an aurora email alert. First one this… autumn I guess. Winter is indeed coming.
